Im not the greatest photographer but you get the idea. If I keep picking up orphaned glasses I will eventually have a whole set of some of them, right? This is thrifting logic at its best. The one in the photo above on the far right has a guy singing "How Dry I Am".
Hello again, DWR! As you recall "How dry I am" was a familiar refrain in the first half of the 20th century. The concept of the lovable drunk reminds us of those politically incorrect times. For decades my aunt and uncle operated a store that sold items like the ones you have collected. They traveled across Pennsylvania, bought them cheap at flea markets and garage sales, cleaned them up, repaired them and resold them for a handsome profit. Happy new year to you!
